A short tutorial on the most important aspects of drawing documents + useful links.
For successful verification:
First you need a good ID / Passport / Driving License template

The best option is if you have a database of photos for documents.
If not, we try to find it:
You can use Google to search for images in unpopular languages.
Make sure that the person is a perfect match for their age.
Don't use the same photo if you need multiple documents. The same passport and driver's license photo is usually not used.
Issue Date
Use the actual issue date! This must be a business day (not Sunday, Saturday, or national holidays)
Check the information about the validity of the document.
Check the expiration date.
For verification, it is better to use the official source, the simplest one is PRADO.
PRADO - the state register of identity cards. Council of the European Union documents.
The European Council and the Council of the EU are served by a single administration, the General Secretariat of the Council (GSC).
DOCUMENT NUMBER
In some countries, the document number is assigned randomly, and in some countries, an algorithm is used to create the document number.
You need to check it every time. Google will help with this issue.
MRZ CODE
Most documents have the MRZ (Machine-readable) code at the bottom. It must be generated correctly.
First, the photo is checked by robots and this code is read. Each MRZ code contains check digits. If the check digits don't match, the document will be rejected immediately.
You can use online calculators to generate it.
A U.S. driver's license is another matter. All DLS in the US have a 2D barcode on the back. It contains different data. It is very difficult to make a correct barcode.
There are online calculators for several states, but not all.
